1. Symphony ZV Pro – 13.990 TK
This is the updated version of Symphony ZV. It has Android 5.1 Lollipop, 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek processor, Mali-450MP4 graphics card, and 2GB RAM. It also has a 1280x720p 5.0 inch IPS display, Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection, 13 MP back camera + 5 MP front camera, and 2,300 mAh Li-Polymer Battery. Although it is a bit weaker in terms of hardware compared to Symphony’s latest flagship, Helio S1 (17,990 TK), it is still a pretty good midrange device.

4. Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime – 13,500 TK
This is the first smartphone manufactured in India by Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi. It has Android 4.4.4 KitKat (MIUI 6.0), 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 graphics card, and 2 GB RAM. Please note that while Redmi Note 2 Prime has 2 GB RAM, the non-prime version (9,999 TK) has only 1 GB RAM, so please be careful which version you buy. It also has a 1280x720p 4.7 inch IPS display, Gorilla Glass 2 screen protection, 8 MP back camera + 2 MP front camera, and 2,200 mAh Li-Polymer Battery. Xiaomi is currently the 4th largest smartphone brand in the world and the build quality of their phones is quite impressive. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not officially started its operations in Bangladesh and you can only get this from resellers.

3. Walton Primo RX4 – 13,990 TK
This is the new midrange handset from Walton Mobile. It has Android 5.1 Lollipop, 1.4 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek processor, Mali-450MP4 graphics card, and 2GB RAM. It also has a 1280x720p 5.0 inch pure black IPS display, Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection, 13 MP back camera + 5 MP front camera, and 2,000 mAh Li-ion Battery. However the most impressive feature of the phone is perhaps its Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection in the front and Dragontrail Glass protection in the back. You also get warranty from Walton Mobile if you buy this phone, which may or may not be available if you buy the other phones on this list from resellers.

2. Yu Yureka Plus – 14,800 TK
Yu Yureka Plus is the updated version of India’s largest mobile manufacturer Micromax’s smartphone, Yu Yureka. It has Android 5.0.2 Lollipop (Cyanogen 12), 1.7 GHz Quad-Core + 1.0 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 graphics card, and 2 GB RAM. When compared to the phones listed above, Yu Yureka Plus has some even more impressive features. It has a 1920x1080p 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display, Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection, 13 MP back camera + 5 MP front camera, and 2,500 mAh Li-Polymer Battery. Please note that the first generation of phones powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor had reports of overheating, however this issue seems to have been fixed through later updates. Yu Yureka Plus will get regular updates form Cyanogen OS, which gives it an edge over the other phones on the list.

1. Lenovo K3 Note – 15,000 TK
In 2014, Lenovo Corporation bought Motorola Mobility and became the 3rd largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Lenovo’s new K3 Note has Android 5.0 Lollipop, 1.7 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Mediatek processor, Mali-T760 MP2 graphics card, and 2GB RAM. It also has a 1920x1080p 5.5 inch Full HD IPS display, 13 MP back camera + 5 MP front camera, and 3,000 mAh Li-ion Battery. Lenovo K3 Note has an Antutu benchmark score of 46,000+ which is much higher than previous year’s flagships such as Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, and OnePlus One! While benchmarking tools do not always give the exact performance, it is still undoubtedly the most powerful phone you can buy within 15,000 TK.
